If that 80% is true then it’s great news for Chinese and global demand.But it seems dubious. Why wouldn’t there be a death rate beginning to near that which we’ve seen in Hong Kong? (If China had Hong Kong’s current cumulative Covid death rate of 1,732 per million people, its deaths would total 2.5 million.)It think we should presume that there are major things we aren’t being told and that some of what we _are_ being told just isn’t true.
