Saratoga Casino Hotel, American Red Cross to host blood drive on July 24

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Saratoga Casino Hotel is teaming up with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on Monday, July 24 from noon to 6 p.m. inside the hotel’s ballroom.

“The American Red Cross is extremely grateful for the long-standing relationship we have shared with Saratoga Casino,” Sonja Ronovech, Regional Donor Services Executive for the American Red Cross, said in a press release. “Every two seconds someone needs a blood transfusion. Saratoga Casino provides awareness of the constant need for blood donations and provides an exceptional venue in our community for blood drives.”

Appointments to give blood can be scheduled through the Red Cross Blood Donor App, by visiting RedCrossBlood.org and entering sponsor code SARATOACASINO, calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or enabling the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device.

Thanks to Discovery, all who come to give blood in July will receive a Shark Week T-shirt.
