114 lives could be saved from blood collected at drive honoring fallen Southport Lt. Aaron Allan

SOUTHPORT — Thursday, July 27 marks six years since the death of Southport Police Department Lt. Aaron Allan.

Over the weekend, a blood drive was held in his honor.

At the blood drive, 38 bags of blood were donated. This will have the ability to help about 114 people.

In the video above, Rafael Sanchez speaks with friends and family of Lt. Allan about the importance of this event and how much it means to them to keep his memory alive.
