The GFWC IL Fairbury Woman’s Club, along with the Fairbury unit of the American Red Cross of the Heartland, hosted a blood drive on June 28. The drive was held at the Fairbury First Baptist Church and 65 units were collected.
There were 60 donors through the door. A huge thank-you to the following people who donated their time to come and donate this much needed blood. Helping organize the drive were Kathy Fehr, Barb Taylor and Sherry Metz. Steve Metz helped unload and set up for the drive and then load the truck at the end of the drive.
