Doctors said because of the tumour, the woman could not eat and weighed just 49 kg
New Delhi: Doctors in Indore have successfully removed a whopping 15 kg tumour from the stomach of a woman, who constantly complained of pain and discomfort.
Dr. Vyas said the surgery was extremely complicated as the tumour covered many nerves and the situation had to be handled very delicately.
The woman weighed just 49 kg and she was not able to even eat properly due to compression of her vital organs, causing inflammation and swelling in the stomach,
The doctors said the tumour was about to burst, which could have been dangerous for the patient’s life. However, after the surgery, she recovered well.
