LifeStream Blood Bank opens fourth annual Dream Raffle fundraiser

Tickets are available through Oct. 31 for LifeStream Blood Bank’s fourth annual Dream Raffle fundraiser.

This year’s grand prize winner may choose between a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport or $25,000 cash. The other major prizes are a Palm Springs getaway at the new Drift Palm Springs hotel and a sight and sound package, which includes a 70-inch smart TV and sound bar system.

A maximum of 1,000 tickets will be sold, and if fewer than 1,000 tickets are sold, the grand prize will be $15,000, according to a news release.

Tickets cost $100 and may be purchased by calling 909-386-6929 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. To download the entry form and see the complete list of prizes, payment options and rules, go to LStream.org/raffle.

Proceeds from this year’s raffle will be used to build two 1,300-cubic-foot walk-in freezers in LifeStream’slaboratory where blood products are tested and stored. The walk-in freezers, which will replace the blood bank’s 20-year-old freezers, cost approximately $150,000 each, according to the news release.

Blanke Schein Wealth Management is the presenting sponsor of this year’s Dream Raffle. Other sponsors include Palm Springs Motors, Drift Palm Springs hotel, LocaliQ, Sam’s Club and Walmart.

LifeStream, with headquarters in San Bernardino, is a nonprofit comprehensive blood bank that provides blood products and services to more than 80 Southern California hospitals in six counties. In addition to San Bernardino, LifeStream has donor centers in Ontario, Victorville, Riverside, Hemet, Murrieta, Rancho Mirage and La Quinta and holds mobile blood drives.
