Since the urethra does not contact the toilet seat, we cannot catch a UTI from one. We are protected from some illnesses so long as the urethra does not come into touch with the seat. It is uncommon for bacteria to enter our bodies through the toilet seat.
These are a few causes of UTI
1. Using public restrooms that aren’t adequately maintained can spread germs.
2. When a person cleans herself from the anal area to the urethra with toilet paper.
3. Coming into contact with an infected person’s urine.
