A school principal in Ghaziabad was arrested for allegedly molesting girl students, the police said on Tuesday. He was arrested after some students wrote a ‘letter in blood’ to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, urging him to take action against the principal.
In the four-page letter, the girl students alleged that principal Rajeev Pandey called them to his office one by one and molested them. When students protested, the principal threatened them, they said in the letter.

“We want to meet you and we demand justice. Please give us time so we can meet you with our parents and tell you the entire matter,” the letter read.
The students also alleged police inaction and said their families were being threatened. “We were made to sit at the police station for four hours and yet there is no action against the principal. Police come to our homes daily and threaten our parents. It is difficult to even step out,” the students said in the letter.
“Babaji, we are your daughters. Please ensure justice,” the girl students wrote.
After the ‘letter in blood’ went viral on social media, police arrested the principal.
WHAT DID THE POLICE SAY?
On August 21, the parents of some girl students and a local councillor went to the school to demand action against the principal.
According to the police, a heated altercation led to the parents thrashing the principal, following which they filed a complaint against him for molesting girl students.
However, principal Rajeev Pandey also filed a complaint against the parents for beating him.
ACP Saloni Agarwal said, “A complaint against the principal was filed right away after students alleged molestation and bad touch by him.”
She said police also filed a complaint against the parents since Rajeev Pandey sustained some injuries.
