Vitalant Blood Bank encourages people to donate due to national blood shortage

SPOKANE, Wash. — Vitalant Blood Donation Center is one of many blood banks that encourages people to donate blood to help reduce the blood shortage in the Inland Northwest area.

The American Red Cross Association has declared a national blood shortage because blood pallets are at critically low levels.
