Blood Assurance facing critically low supply of O-positive blood

With its O-positive supply reaching a critically low level, Blood Assurance is urging those eligible to give the gift of life.

“We have a significantly low supply of O-positive blood on our shelves,” said Max Winitz, Blood Assurance’s media relations coordinator. “At last check, there was less than a half-day supply. We need about a five-day supply to feel comfortable with our inventory.”
