STRICTLY star Nancy Xu has broken her silence after she appeared to be suffering from an injury whilst live on air.
The pro dancer left BBC viewers when concerned as blood could be seem pouring from her ear and down her face.
Nancy could then be seen attempting to mop it up with a tissue as she chatted to show hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
Now the dancing superstar has spoken out for the first time since the mystery as she took to Instagram to comment on her routine with actor Les Dennis.
Although she failed to address the incident, Nancy said: “That’s week one done. Hope we did bring a bit of smile on your face.”
Replying back to her, one fan said: “Your dance made me smile. Les was so determined and focused.”

Another added: “You made me smile so much, forever proud of you.”
While a third penned: “Forever proud of you.”
According to RadioTimes, Nancy’s injury was down to a very small cut from her earring.
On the show, the blood appeared to have run down her face and under her chin as she was handed a tissue as she chatted to host Claudia Winkleman.

She could be seen clutching onto it as she appeared to have wiped her face as the camera was not focused on her.
Nancy did not comment on the injury as she was interviewed by Tess Daly and Claudia.
One concerned fan wrote online: “Hope Nancy is ok… @bbcstrictly that looks like an injury.”
Another asked: “What has happened to Nancy’s neck?”
A third worried fan added: “What was on the side of Nancy’s neck?? Is my girl okay??”
