Letter: Thanks to all who helped with this year’s Rotary blood screening

DETROIT LAKES

— Thank you for a successful blood screening!

On behalf of the Detroit Lakes Noon Rotary Club, I wish to express our sincere appreciation to Essentia Health St. Mary’s and Sanford Clinic for the success of the Rotary Blood Screening.

Also, a special thank you to the staff and volunteers of the organizations who donated their time and efforts to make this 30-year event successful. In addition, thank you to the businesses that supported this event by providing this service to their employees free of charge.

I thank Julie Poore at Essentia Health for leading the Rotary Blood Screening event again this year. We are fortunate to have such caring individuals as Julie in our community.

This program allows local health providers to be more effective in providing the services necessary to keep our community healthy. It also offers residents an inexpensive means of obtaining these laboratory results. This service is only possible through the cooperation of the Essentia Health and Sanford Health organizations.
