(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Elijah is currently battling T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia but he is responding well to treatment according to a representative from the Community Blood Center.
Elijah is a student at Bode Middle School in St. Joseph and wants to invite the community to donate blood from October 1st to October 8th during an event called “Elijah’s Blood Drive”.
The St. Joseph Community Blood Center is open on Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 am to 6 p.m. and on Saturday & Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
