Thalapathy Vijay’s highly anticipated Leo trailer was released today, showcasing the actor’s rugged persona in the film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Vijay’s devoted fanbase has been buzzing with excitement, causing the actor to trend on Twitter for days. Finally, the much-awaited trailer for his film Leo was unveiled by the cast and creators on Thursday.
Leo is set to hit theaters on October 19, marking Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s second collaboration after Master, which premiered in 2021.
The trailer creates an intense atmosphere, providing glimpses of Vijay’s character as a family man residing in Kashmir with his wife (Trisha) and daughter. However, his past catches up with him as vengeful villains track him down.
They subject him to brutal attacks, momentarily defeating him. But after enduring a few blows, Vijay’s fierce fighter side emerges as he takes on the goons single-handedly.
Additionally, there’s mention of a serial killer on the loose, with a police officer hot on the pursuit. Sanjay Dutt appears menacing as the main antagonist, and a cameo is teased towards the end.
Leo has been co-produced by SS Lalit Kumar’s Seven Screen Studio and Jagadish Palanisamy. The film’s music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander, marking their third collaboration after Kaththi and Master.
