The San Diego Blood Bank recently expanded its Precision Blood initiative, which was launched with hopes of raising funds to continue research, increase blood donations, and secure a hospital partner to begin clinical trials. Four months later, San Diego Blood Bank has achieved these critical milestones and can now continue their research to know how Precision Blood is positively changing the lives of chronically transfused patients.
