Diablo 4 Season of Blood Gets Hit with a Delay at the Last Minute

Honestly, it feels like Blizzard is becoming the embodiment of that scene in The Simpsons where Homer falls into Springfield Gorge and hits every possible cliff and rock on the way down. The developer just can’t seem to catch a break, and its latest cock-up involves Diablo 4’s fairly anticipated Season of Blood.

The game’s second shot at seasonal content was meant to go live today, but it’s been delayed at pretty much the last minute. “We’ve encountered some complications and will be delaying Season of Blood’s start time a few hours to remedy these issues,” the team writes on its social media channels. “We’ll share updates as soon as we have them. We appreciate your patience.”

To make matters worse, there are reports on PS5 of error messages that are preventing players from even logging into the game. We’re going to assume this is a related issue, but it really does seem as though nothing can go smoothly when it comes to Diablo 4.
