PNW experiencing blood shortage, here’s how to help

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Pacific Northwest is currently suffering from a critically low blood supply, echoing the shortage of blood across the country.

According to a new report, an increased need for Type O blood and platelets has kept the supply at critical levels.
