Diablo 4 Blood Harvests Guide – Diablo 4 Guide

Blood Harvests are a new event in Season of Blood. Blood Harvests last for 60 minutes, and occupy a different region of Sanctuary each time they start. Travel to the affected area to participate in the event by defeating enemies and completing objectives.

Blood Harvests are a great source of experience, drops, and Potent Blood, required to unlock Vampiric Powers.

How to Participate in the Blood Harvest

The Blood Harvest is available to all characters from Level 1, and scales to your level, so you can join in the fun right away.

Blood Harvest Locations

You can tell which region of the map is affected by the Blood Harvest at a glance – it’ll be highlighted in green.

You can hover over the Blood Harvest icon on your map to view the time remaining until the event moves to a new location.

Blood Harvest Activities

There are several objectives available to complete during the Blood Harvest. You can also receive Whispers from the Blood Harvest by completing certain objectives labelled on your map.

When you enter the Blood Harvest area, you’ll see a module in the top right corner of your screen that shows you the remaining duration of the event, and underneath, the Blood Lures and Seeker Keys that you currently have available.

Blood Lures Seeker Keys

Blood Lures and Seeker Keys carry over between Blood Harvest events, so don’t worry about using them all before the duration timer expires.

Blood Lure Pedestals

Blood Lure Pedestals can be found directly underneath the green Blood Harvest icon on your map.

This event spawns plenty of mobs and is pricey to activate, but the drop rate is excellent (around 4 to 6 Legendaries in our experience).

An activated Blood Lure Pedestal will emit a glowing orange light and a trail of blood leading to the center of the circle.

Each Blood Lure Pedestal requires 50 Blood Lures to activate, but the Pedestals will only activate when all three are filled at once. This means you’ll need 150 in total if you want to activate them all by yourself.

If you’ve spent 50 Blood Lures activating a Pedestal, but don’t have enough to activate the other two, don’t worry – other players can also spend Blood Lures activating the Pedestals, so stick around until someone else contributes!

Once all three are activated, you’ll hear Zir speak to you, and several waves of enemies will appear. After defeating these foes, bubbling blood in the center of the circle summons three bosses: Tidao of the Ancients, Xereph of the Ancients, and Onore of the Ancients.

Sanguine Altar

You can use 15 Blood Lures at a Sanguine Altar to lure out Blood Seekers, powerful enemies who drop Potent Blood and Seeker Keys.

Blood Seekers can also be found across the Blood Harvest event area. They appear to also eventually spawn on you after you’ve killed several enemies.

Seeker’s Cache

These chests can be found throughout the Blood Harvest zone, and can be unlocked with Seeker Keys. They drop equipment, Potent Blood, and Standalone Pacts.

Rescue Villagers

You can free captured Villagers by interacting with the cage they’re in.

Hunter’s Acclaim

As you kill enemies in the Blood Harvest, you accumulate Hunter’s Acclaim, a new type of reputation that can be exchanged for rewards at a Bounty Board.
