Millerton to host blood drive on Halloween

A community blood drive will be held in the social hall of the Millerton United Methodist Church at 5443 Main St., Millerton, from 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

To schedule an appointment, call 1-800-733-2767 or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter Millerton UMC.

Visit RedCrossBlood.org/Rapid Pass to complete your pre-donation reading and health history questions on the day of your appointment. This will save you time the day of the blood drive.

Organizers urge the public to give blood. Donation totals at Millerton have been down and the Red Cross is in need of blood.

T-shirts will be available while they last for those who donate.

The next blood drive will be held on Dec. 27.
