COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The 2023 Blood Battle between Ohio State and Michigan is kicking off on Wednesday.
Buckeyes can go to the Ohio Union and donate blood starting Wednesday through Nov. 22. Michigan hosts OSU on Nov. 25 in what looks to be a Top 10 matchup. There are multiple locations to help the cause.
Last year, Ohio State won the Blood Battle title, defeating Michigan for the first time in five years. Roll up your sleeves, Buckeyes.
“Last year, the Ohio State University won the Blood Battle, a longstanding tradition which began in 1982,” organizers wrote. “During this month-long challenge, we much collect more blood donations than Michigan in order to win. Help us defend our blood battle title!”
Buckeye football players Mike Hall Jr. and Avery Henry will be on hand as the battle resumes.
