Slippery Rock University Hosting Blood Drive – ButlerRadio.com

Healthy community members are encouraged to help neighbors in need through participation in a blood drive today at Slippery Rock University.

The American Red Cross drive is taking place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Robert Smith Center on Campus Drive.

Anyone who donates blood with the Red Cross through November 9th will receive a $10 gift card by email to a restaurant merchant of their choice as well as be registered for a chance to win one of three $5,000 gift cards.

Additional local drives are planned for Monday at American Legion Post 778 and November 3rd at Butler First Church of the Nazarene.

Those able to donate at these drives are asked to make an appointment through the website of the American Red Cross, the Red Cross Blood Donor App, or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.
