3 appointments left… Red Cross Blood Drive on campus Tuesday Oct 31st

Help the Red Cross Club & Staff Council Blood Drive Committee meet our goal of collecting 33 units of blood.  

There are 3 appointments left for those eligible to donate POWER RED.  If you have O (positive or negative), A negative or B negative blood and meet age, height, and weight requirements, we could use your help.  The Power Red donation process takes a bit longer.

What: American Red Cross Blood Drive
When: Tuesday, October 31st,  from 11:30am-4:30pm
Where: Emerson Suites, Campus Center
How:

• Check donation Eligibility or check out an alphabetical listing
  • Eligibility policies are determined by the FDA; the Red Cross has been actively working to expand eligibility across all groups of people. 
• Sign up for a blood donation appointment
  • Sometimes wait times on drive days can be long, please be prepared for the whole process to take an hour or a little longer
• On the day of your donation:
  • Fill out the RAPID PASS before coming for your appointment
    • The Rapid pass will help check-in go more smoothly
    • Might help you determine whether you are eligible to donate or not.   
  • Eat a big balanced breakfast
  • Drink lots of water
  • Bring your ID
  • Plan to spend a few minutes at the “canteen” after your donation to have a snack and replenish on fluids
