For over 15 years, Storm Lake and surrounding communities have supported the local blood bank, LifeServe Blood Center, with at least two blood donation opportunities per month.
Over the course of October, two blood drives were hosted to support Buena Vista Regional Medical Center successfully collected 90 units of blood that have the ability to save up to 270 local lives!
The following donors hit milestones with their most recent donation: Jeffrey Groves, Kaitlyn Wagner, Shelley Flaherty, Tion Schuknecht and Jessica Meyer, one gallon; John Bauer and Robert Noll, four gallons; Jay Ponsor, six gallons; Kari Hansen-Limbert and Allen Fredericksen, eight gallons and Nancy Sliefert, 12 gallons.

Tuesday, Nov. 7 at St. Mark Church from 12:30-5:30pm)
Tuesday, Nov. 7 at Buena Vista University from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 15 at Storm Lake High School from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 17 at United Methodist Church from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
