THEY WANT BLOOD

Halloween may be over but Executive Director of Greater KC area and NW chapter JoAnn Woody of the American Red Cross wants patrons to know that the blood shortage is on the rise.

Woody exclaimed how blood is always needed especially rare types like O. Woody exclaimed this time of year is always in greater need as the inclement weather plays a part in seeing more accidents and blood needs rise.

Woody exclaims how patients are counting on lifesaving care now and all season long.
Woody says as a thank you for donators now through November 9 you will receive a $10 Restaurant E Gift Card by email for donating blood.

PLUS, you will then be entered in a $5000 grand prize you could win to treat yourself. The Red Cross not only checks your blood for certain ailments and now can share the results with you, and when your actual donation is being used. Woody says you can get all the information by downloading their free Red Cross Blood Donor App.
