On Friday morning, the air quality in the national capital reached ‘severe’ levels, with Mundka recording the highest Air Quality Index (498). Health experts have reported a rise in the number of individuals experiencing respiratory and other health issues in the national capital, and they have advised residents to take precautions. A significant number of the capital’s 20 million residents have complained of eye irritation, itchy throats, breathing difficulties, and other related problems.
