How Michigan hospitals graded for patient safety in fall 2023

Michigan hospitals collectively received more “C,” “D,” and “F” letter grades on their safety report cards this fall than last year.

While 51 of the 82 assessed hospitals were given an “A” or “B,” 19 health care facilities got a lesser grade than they did in fall 2022, according to the latest evaluation by national non-profit watchdog The Leapfrog Group.
