A Veterans Day Program will begin 9:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at the Truman Public School Auditorium. As we celebrate Veterans Day, we would like to take a moment to express our deepest thanks to the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve in our military.

Second Harvest Heartland, nutrition assistance program for seniors, will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday November 15. Come to Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman to pick up your box. Eligibility is based on age, 60 years and up, household size, and income. Pre-register at 1-800-365-0270.
Admirers of the walking dead or Shakespeare will both enjoy the Truman Public School’s fall play “Shakespear Ate My Brain” It will be presented 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov 17 and 18, in the Truman High School auditorium. On Saturday, the senior class will host a dinner before the play as a fundraiser. Advanced tickets are available from cast members and seniors. Although the script called for a minimal stage set, Truman School currently has a theater class who have constructed an elaborate background for the “Scottish play.”
The American Red Cross blood drive will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20 at the Truman Community Building.
