▶️ Give blood this month, get free “Elf” socks from Red Cross

Hoping to boost blood and platelet donations, the American Red Cross is offering up something warm, fuzzy and holiday appropriate as in incentive — free “Elf” socks.

Donors of all blood types are urged to give, especially type O blood donors and those giving platelets.

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the film “Elf,” all who come to give blood or platelets through Nov. 30 will receive an exclusive pair of “Elf” + Red Cross socks, while supplies last.

November 30

Bend Blood Donation Ctr., 815 SW Bond Street Suite 110, Bend, OR, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

How to donate blood 

A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger must also meet certain height and weight requirements.
