Community Blood Bank doubling difference

Community Blood Bank is holding its “Double your Difference” campaign this November.

The next drive is set noon to 5 p.m. Monday at St. Bernard Church, 95 E. Corydon St.

When you donate blood at any location, you’ll receive a CBB winter hat and Community Blood Bank will donate a winter warmth set to local shelters. In addition, all donors at this drive will receive a $15 Tops gift card!

Blood shortages can lead to delayed treatments, increased risks during childbirth and inadequate supply for individuals with blood disorders or other conditions requiring regular transfusions. Every blood donation has the potential to save multiple lives and all blood types are needed, especially type O blood to help meet immediate needs.

Call (814) 456-4206 to schedule a donation appointment, which is encouraged to reduce wait time but not required. Walk-ins will be taken as space allows.
