Man dead after found in blood near downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A man is dead after he was found face down in blood near the downtown Las Vegas valley Wednesday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 800 block of Searles Ave. near Las Vegas Blvd. around 3:35 p.m.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), it is unknown if the man fell or got into a fight.

LVMPD homicide detectives are investigating.

Police say the cause of death is unknown.
