A total of 128 units of blood were collected at four LifeServe Blood Center blood drives in Storm Lake this month.
The blood drives were hosted to support the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center along with over 150 other hospitals served by LifeServe.
Several local donors hit milestones with their most recent donation. Steven Becker reached 13 gallons of blood donated…Stuart Genson nine gallons…Judith Johnson eight gallons…James Franzmeier and Robert Rohlfsen seven gallons…Tara Kron five gallons…Heather Martin four gallons…Lynette Goodman and Heather Santos two gallons…and Leann Ripke, Jeff Jorgensen, and Alan Hinkeldey all reached one gallon of blood donated.
Three LifeServe blood drives will be held in Storm Lake next month including Tuesday, December 5th from 12:30 to 5:30pm at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church…Friday, December 15th from 9:30am to 1:30pm at the United Methodist Church…and Friday, December 29th from 9:15am to 2:15pm at the Mckenzie Herrig Scholarship Drive at BVRMC.
