WVU Medicine Fairmont Medical Center to host American Red Cross blood drive

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — WVU Medicine Fairmont Medical Center will host an American Red Cross blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

The blood drive is part of a nationwide effort to address a critical shortage of blood donations. Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. However, only about 3 percent of the eligible population donates blood each year.
