Stone Bank Blood Drive

Stone Bank to sponsor blood drive Wednesday, Aug 16, 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Stone Bank is sponsoring a blood drive on Wednesday, August 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Arkansas Blood Institute’s mobile unit to be parked at the bank at 802 E. Main St. in Mountain View.  The drive is being conducted to supply needed blood supplies to area healthcare providers.

Donors may schedule their appointment by signing up online at www.arkbi.org clicking on “Find a Blood Drive” and entering the Mountain View zip code 72560. They may also contact Melissa Sutton, at 870-819-4743. Walk-ins are also welcome. Donors will receive one free entry to Magic Springs Water and Theme Park and a vintage “Life is Better” t-shirt. 

To donate blood, 16-year-olds must weigh at least 125 pounds and provide signed parental permission; 17-year-olds must weigh at least 125 pounds; 18+-year-olds must weigh at least 110 pounds. Photo ID must be presented.
