Community Blood Drive today in Fort Pierre; Donors will be able to donate again during annual Tyler Wilcox Memorial event Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1

LifeServe Blood Center is holding a Community Blood Drive today (Aug. 7, 2023) at the Moose Lodge in Fort Pierre.

Donations will be accepted from 10:30am-2:45pm. To schedule an appointment go to www.lifeservebloodcenter.org or call 605-626-1620.

Those who donate at this drive will be eligible to donate again during the 19th annual Tyler Wilcox Memorial Guns n’ Hoses Blood Drive Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1, 2023.

LifeServe Blood Center supplies all of the blood and blood products for 29 hospitals in South Dakota, including Avera St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre.

As a reminder, blood donors who would like to transfer their lifetime blood donation records from other blood collection entities to LifeServe may do so by going to lifeserve.info/transfer.
