Blood centers across our area are in critical need of donations after Idalia hit south Georgia and the low country. The Blood Connection is asking for donors with O negative and O positive blood, as those are the most commonly needed blood types for transfusions and emergencies.“TBC is in critical need of blood donations from donors of all blood types due to Hurricane Idalia, which is bad timing with Labor Day weekend approaching,” said Heather Moulder, Director of Communications and Public Relations for The Blood Connection. “We need you – the community’s support.
