Joseph McGinn III, M.D., Joins Baptist Health as a Cardiovascular Surgeon – Florida Hospital News and Healthcare Report

September 7, 2023  Joseph McGinn III, M.D., joins Baptist Health as a cardiovascular surgeon, specializing in adult cardiac surgery.

“It’s an honor to welcome Dr. McGinn to our Baptist Health team,” said Dr. Marc Gibber, M.D., medical director and chief of cardiothoracic surgery at Bethesda Hospital East. “Dedicated to providing safe, efficacious cardiac procedures, he will offer our patients compassionate care with a focus on creating lifelong partnerships based on shared, informed decision-making.”

Prior to joining Baptist Heath, Dr. McGinn completed his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He earned his medical degree at The Commonwealth Medical College and completed his general surgery residency at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine.

Dr. McGinn is a frequent podium presenter at national surgical society meetings and his research has been published in the Journal of Thoracic Disease, Surgery and SHOCK. He is a fellow of the American Association for Thoracic Surgery and a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association.

He will see patients at 2815 S Seacrest Blvd., Boynton Beach, FL 33435 and 800 Meadows Rd., Boca Raton, FL 33486.
