In face of national blood shortage, American Red Cross schedules local blood drives

ZANESVILLE − The American Red Cross is experiencing a national blood shortage. To help combat the shortage several blood drives have been scheduled in Muskingum and Perry counties. Muskingum County

● 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 28 at Maysville High School

● 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 30 at North Terrace Church of Christ

● 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 2 at College Hall on the OUZ/Zane State campus

● 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 2, 12 and 16 and 1 to 7 p.m. Oct. 9 at Trinity United Presbyterian Church

● Noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 18 at East Muskingum Middle School

● 1 to 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Roseville American Legion Post

Morgan County

● 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 29 at Morgan High School

● 1 to 7 p.m. Oct. 4 at Stockport United Methodist Church

Perry County

● 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 6 at Sheridan High School in Thornville

● 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Thornville Masonic Lodge

● 1 to 7 p.m. Oct. 12 at Somerset American Legion Post

● 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 14 at the Junction City American Legion Hall

● 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Perry County Board of Developmental Disabilities
