Chico State to host blood drive during Greek Week

CHICO, Calif. – Vitalnt, a nonprofit blood service provider, will be holding a blood drive at Chico State today and tomorrow.

The Greek Week blood drive will happen today and Oct. 17 from 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the BMU Auditorium.

Donors of all blood types, especially type O are needed every day to replenish what is used to help patients. In an emergency, O-negative is crucial when there is no time to determine a patient’s blood type, and O-positive can help anyone with Rh-positive blood.
