On Nov. 11, community members from across the county gathered at Teas Health Resources Foundation’s second annual Starlight Gala at the Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel and Convention Center. The gala helped the foundation raise funds to benefit diagnostic and technical advancements in Cardiovascular Care at Texas Health Allen and help continue the foundation’s efforts to support veteran patients at Texas Health hospitals.

Volunteers, as part of the foundation, aim to help recognize veteran patients from framing a military portrait to providing blankets and other care items, or giving a final salute for veterans who die in the hospital.
