RESPONDERS. FIVE AFTER NINE. NOW WE HAVE AN UPDATE THIS MORNING ON INJURED KARNS CITY HIGH SCHOOL QUARTERBACK MASON MARTIN ON SOCIAL MEDIA. HIS FATHER, DANNY, SAYS MASON HAS RECOVERED FROM MENINGITIS BUT IS NOW FIGHTING ANOTHER INFECTION. DANNY MARTIN SAYS MASON BECAME SICK ON THURSDAY AHEAD OF A SURGERY. We have an update on injured Karns City High School quarterback Mason Martin. On social media, his father, Denny, says Mason has recovered from meningitis but is now fighting another infection. Denny Martin says Mason became sick on Thursday ahead of a surgery. He tested positive for an infection which is being treated with antibiotics.They are hoping the infection does not affect his cranial flap.The family is asking for continued prayers and support.
