Marquette at 27% of goal in blood drive competition; donate in AMU Nov. 29

Marquette has collected 135 units of blood, which is 27% of the university’s 500-unit goal, as part of its blood drive competition with Butler University. Help Marquette continue its efforts by donating on Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the AMU Henke Lounge.

Those who participate in the drive, sponsored by the Department of Physical Therapy, will receive a Marquette blood battle long sleeve T-shirt and be entered to win a $250 gift card to the bookstore.

Appointments can be made online.

Marquette will host all-campus drives and additional drives within residence halls in partnership with Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin through April 2024.

Donations can also go toward the battle outside of specified drives. Use the code “#marquette” in the appointment notes while scheduling with Versiti, which has a blood center right on campus at 18th Street and Wisconsin Avenue. The donor center’s complete schedule is available online.
