Wisconsin health officials investigate salmonella infections linked to cantaloupes

Wisconsin health officials are investigating a multistate outbreak of salmonella infections that have been linked to cantaloupes.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services; Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection; local health departments; and federal officials are investigating the outbreak that so far has seen 43 people in 15 states infected with salmonella, a press release states. At least four people in Wisconsin have been infected.
