Red Cross incentivizes blood drive with holiday prize package

MISSOULA, Mont. — With seasonal illness and decreased donor turnout during the holidays, the demand for blood products is high.

Donations will help ensure patients have access to lifesaving blood until the end of the year.

People who donate blood in December will be automatically entered in a raffle to win a $1,000 Amazon.com gift card and a 65-inch TV.

There will be 12 winners, and those who come between Dec. 1 and Dec. 17 will get a $10 Amazon.com gift card by email.
